I am not an expert in ALL things Breast Implant Illness. My personal focus tends to be on healing post-explant. Please use the resources on this page to gather more information with regards to making decisions revolving around Breast Implant Illness and your journey. I hope you find this information useful and if there is anything you would like to see added, please comment below. I will continue to add to this page as I am able to. Thank you!
Recommended Explant Surgeons
These 8 surgeons listed below do explants on a regular basis, believe in Breast Implant Illness, have the most experience with explant surgery, are very skilled, and are committed to en block when possible and complete capsulectomy. They are very reputable among the breast implant illness groups. I personally would only recommend a surgeon from this top 6 list, but I understand that this is not always possible for everyone. You will find additional surgeons listed by state HERE who are also quite reputable. This list was created from countless testimonials from women who have explanted. When choosing an explant surgeon, it is ultimately important to chose someone who you feel comfortable with, who you connect with, and who is committed to performing en block and complete capsulectomy for the best health outcome. I recommend seeking testimonials from women in the various Facebook groups in addition to having consultations with several surgeons until you find the right fit for you. The worst thing you can do is make a rash decision out of panic once you have discovered BII. “Just getting them out” is not ideal nor is it recommended. Please take your time in finding the right surgeon for you.

This is a list of my favorite non-toxic products and products that I recommend for minimizing the kinds of stress we’re exposed to and protecting our bodies. There are a couple of affiliate links here, but most are not. I’ll be adding more over time, but here are the current recommendations:
Bear’s Beauty: Natural Deodorant and Remineralizing Toothpaste. She makes a lot of personal care products, but the extra strength deodorant and remineralizing toothpaste are the two that I’ve tried and absolutely love. My husband even loves them. I’m pretty sure I’ll be using these forever. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BearsBeauty
Systemic Formulas “WO China Healing Oil”: an essential oil combination “medicine chest” in a bottle. People call it the “Wonder Oil” for it’s inherent properties. A potent “Yang” energy formula, WO supports normal circulation and repair processes, which is why I believe it is a wonderful choice to apply to incisions after explant (and after your surgeon says it’s ok to do so). It has antimicrobial and skin healing properties. It contains Wormseed Oil, Wintergreen Oil, Basil Oil, Spearmint Oil, and Leptotaenia Oil in an herbal base. For now, you’ll have to reach out to me below if you would like me to order this for you.
Systemic Enzymes: are very helpful for healing incisions and breast tissue nicely after explant, as well as preventing keloiding. There is so much remodeling of tissue occurring during the first 6 months after explant, so I used Fibrenza for about 6 months after my own explant and my scars look beautiful and I my breast tissue is nice and smooth.
Pure Form Omega®: an Organic, Plant-Based, Fish-Free, Cold-Pressed, source of Omega-6 and Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids. The Pure Form Omega® Natural proprietary formulation is made up of Organic Evening Primrose oil, Organic High Linoleic Sunflower Seed oil, Organic Pumpkin Seed oil, and Organic Extra Virgin Coconut oil, all excellent sources of essential Omega-6, along with Organic Flax oil for essential Omega-3, to obtain what I consider the ideal Omega 3-6 combination. This product is excellent for squelching inflammation and improving tissue healing after explant. Be sure to ask your surgeon when it’s appropriate to start using this product after surgery. You can purchase HERE.
Essential Fatty Acid Benefits:
- Linoleic Acid is an omega-6 fatty acid that is important for healthy cell membranes and It supports weight loss and fat-burning, regulates blood sugar, improves insulin function, immune function and digestion, builds muscles and bones, and optimizes brain function.
- Alpha-Linoleic Acid is an omega-3 fatty acid that is beneficial for autoimmune diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, lung disorders such as asthma, helps prevent depression and reduce pain.
- Gamma-Linolenic Acid is an omega-6 fatty acid that gets converted to PGE1, a potent anti-inflammatory. It benefits skin conditions, aids in weight loss, and provides allergy support.
- PGE1 (prostaglandin E1) reduces inflammation, synthesises cholesterol, lowers blood pressure, and protects the liver. Prostaglandins are also responsible for maintaining electrolyte balance, insulin secretion, nerve conduction, and GI function.
- Evening Primrose Oil helps balance hormones, boost hair and skin health, and supports rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.
- Flax Seed Oil aids in weight loss, regulates the bowel, eliminates cellulite, reduces eczema, and boost heart health and immunity.
- Sunflower Oil supports heart health, boost immune system, increases energy, improves skin, and reduces inflammation.
- Pumpkin Seed Oil boost mental health, improves health of skin and hair, supports prostate and urinary health, and relieves symptoms of menopause.
- Coconut Oil helps fight infections, boost cognitive function, and aids in weight loss.
Purity Coffee: This is the only kind of coffee I have been able to tolerate. I can’t even tolerate Bulletproof Coffee. Let me give you the low-down: Researchers saw that the people who got the most benefit from drinking coffee were drinking a certain kind of coffee. Specifically, they were drinking specialty blends that were high in antioxidants with no additives. Drinking just any old coffee can lead to uncomfortable problems like upset stomach or caffeine jitters (and for people like me, horrific anxiety). If it’s also made with industrially farmed beans rather than organic ones–that’s almost 97% of coffee–you’ll be exposed to pesticide residues. Many of these are known hormone disruptors.
But never fear! Purity Coffee to the rescue! There are a number of ways to maximize the benefits of your daily coffee so it’s not just a way to wake up (which you shouldn’t need anyway). And one of the greatest ways to do that is choosing my favorite new coffee brand: Purity Coffee.
I have had a chance to drink Purity’s antioxidant-rich whole bean coffee over the past 6 months, and I am loving coffee again! Not only is it delicious, but it didn’t make me feel like I was dying (that’s how most coffee makes me feel). Win! That’s probably because Purity hits all the right health targets from tree to cup–organic, specialty grade beans are 100% mold, mycotoxin, and pesticide free. They know this for sure because three different independent labs tested them. And Purity’s scientifically-honed roasting method maximizes those metabolism-boosting antioxidants to over 65% the amount that’s contained in other organic coffees. You’ve really got to try it.

Fullscript: gain access to my complete list of supplements in Fullscript at 10% off. This is a great resource for obtaining practitioner grade supplements. I don’t recommend purchasing supplements of any kind on Amazon due to the alarming rate of counterfeit supplements sold there. Don’t take your chances with something you’re ingesting! I’ll be adding to this shortly, so be sure to check back if you don’t see what you’re looking for.
Smart Meter Cover: The wifi we’re exposed to from our smart meters is a significant source of stress on the body. I recommend using a smart meter cover to protect yourself. More on this to come. HERE is the one I have. They also make a device for cleaning up dirty electricity in your home, which I also highly recommend.
Radiation Protection Cases: Radiation protection from smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Many of us are sensitive to electromagnetic fields. They can cause all sorts of symptoms such as: sleep disturbances, including insomnia, headache, depression and depressive symptoms, tiredness and fatigue, dysesthesia (a painful, often itchy sensation), lack of concentration, changes in memory, dizziness. SafeSleeve is the brand I personally use.
Air Purification: The indoor air is often much more polluted than outdoor air. I recommend and personally use Molekule. Their nanotechnology destroys pollutants at the molecular level. Personally, I’ve appreciated far less sinus congestion since using this purification device.
Water Purification: Our water, whether it be city water or well water is heavily contaminated. My go-to for good, clean water is the Big Berkey for it’s price point and effectiveness at removing the “bad stuff” and leaving behind all the “good stuff”. I used it for a few years before getting a whole-house water filter installed. I highly recommend it. They also make shower head filters. For a whole-house filtration system, I use and love Aquasana. If you have a pre-existing home, just know that the installation will likely cost more than the unit. If you’re building, this is a great option to add during construction.
Blue Light Blocking Glasses: Blue light is another source of stress on the body that can be addressed. If you have any issues with sleep, I recommend trying blue light blocking glasses. Blue light emitted from any screens (phone, tablet, TV, laptop, etc) block melatonin(sleep hormone) production. To prevent this from occurring while still being able to view your screen, wear blue-light blocking glasses in the evening starting at about 7pm. THIS is the brand I have and love because they’re cute!
Skincare: I personally love Floracopeia. They have the most beautiful products with the highest quality botanicals I’ve seen. Sara and David Crow are brilliant! This is skin food that won’t damage your hormones.
Far Infrared Sauna: I have done the research for you. The least toxic and lowest EMF sauna I have found and that is still reasonably priced is Radiant Health Saunas. I have talked with Randy Gomm (owner) at length about these saunas. He is so kind and helpful. If I had known they existed before I purchased my own, this is the brand I would have gone with. My clients get a $500 discount when using my code: ExplantRHS44. I discussed all the reasons why and what you need to look for in a sauna if you’re going to invest in one HERE.
The videos I post here now and in the future may be about breast implants or other educational videos I find invaluable to educating you about toxicity and lifestyle, etc. As more videos become available or discovered, I’ll be updating this list.
EWG’s Video “10 Americans”: Watch EWG president Ken Cook share shocking information about how babies are born pre-polluted with as many as 300 industrial chemicals in their bodies. One of the most entertaining and sobering presentations that you’ll see about the health effects of environmental pollution. It’s not just the breast implants ladies, but this also shows why tiny doses of toxins matter. https://www.ewg.org/news/videos/10-americans
